Recently, I visited the Anaheim Packing District for the first time. The Packing District is located at 440 S. Anaheim Blvd in Anaheim, off Broadway & Anaheim Blvd. Parking and admission are free, though parking can be difficult and may be worth the $3 valet fee.
The Packing District is a relatively new communal gathering place in downtown Anaheim. Inside the District you will find bars, restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and more. It also includes the Backyard, an outdoor event venue; and live music every weekend on the Mezzanine Stage.
The District is open 7 days a week. Vendors include a variety of restaurants and bars, see below for the full list.
The Packing District also offers a variety of scheduled events, like concerts and Yoga. See their updated calendar here.
Upon arrival to the upstairs level you will see the two giant roosters near the door, so take a minute for the obligatory “standing next to a giant cock” photo. Air plants hang down above community tables, making you feel like you are truly part of a communal event.
Eating the delicious comfort food of the Kroft restaurant is recommend, followed by the delicious flavors of the Popbar popsicle bar upstairs. Don’t take my word for it- check out 500+ reviews on Yelp (4 star rating).
So what are you waiting for? Try out the delicious tastes and a large variety of food.
