With every Apple product launch comes rave reviews and complaints alike. Their latest software update was no different, spawning comments that the system was draining their battery rapidly, making the keyboard lag, and making the whole system freeze. Despite all the well-publicized complaints, Apple continues to see success.
On Wednesday, Apple’s new operation system, iOS 7, was released. In just 48 hours the new system was updated on 32% of Apple devices (iPhones, iPods, iPads, etc.)
This number is nearly close to the over 30% of people who downloaded the iOS 6 update despite the Apple Maps fiasco.
The major difference between Apple and Android is that most Apple owners eventually download the latest update within a few months. A study showed that almost a third of Android users are still using the software version released in 2010.
