Food for thought: Christmas edition

As I stroll through the mall this season, I see Christmas ads galore. But it has me wondering, what makes people wanting more?

Yup, that was my attempt at poetry- don’t make fun!
The age old-question keeps occurring to me. Do advertisers and markets create the want for products, or do audiences create the need for advertisers to sell them these products?

What do you think?

Personally, I think it’s a bit of both. You could have the fountain of youth in a bottle, but if nobody knows about it who is going to buy it?
